Detail Itinerary

Day 01:Arrival at Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, get a warm welcome from our representative, and transfer to the hotel. Meet with your trekking guide to discuss the necessary tools for the trek. If time permits, explore the neighborhood. Overnight stay at the hotel in the valley.

Day 02:Kathmandu- Beshisahar- Jagat

Early morning, we’ll travel to Jagat, enjoying the breathtaking views of Ganesh Himal and Manaslu in the Trishuli valley. We’ll cross many small and large rivers along the route and after 7-8 hours of travel, we’ll reach Jagat, following various scenic paths. Spend the night in a guest house.

Day 03:Jagat to Dharapani

The following morning, we’ll continue our trail towards Dharapani. We’ll walk uphill through an Oak Forest after crossing a suspension bridge. After a while, we’ll enter a valley and reach the village of Tal, situated near a mountain range waterfall. We’ll cross the river again and ascend to the village of Dharapani. Spend the night in a guest house.

Day 04:Dharapani to Chame

After breakfast in Dharapani, we’ll trek to Bagarchap village (2164m). We’ll continue through the forest and reach Dhanagyu. We’ll climb to Temang, where we’ll take a break for lunch and enjoy the stunning views of Manaslu and other snowcapped mountains. Then, we’ll descend through fir and pine forests to Koto and eventually reach Chame, which is the administrative capital of the Manang district.

Day 05:Chame to Pisang

The trail starts by following the river closely through a deep canyon, passing several waterfalls before reaching Brathang (2919m). Then, it continues through a steep narrow valley, winding through a deep forest and offering magnificent views of Annapurna II. After crossing the river near the extraordinary curved rock face of Paungda Danda, which rises almost 1500m from the riverbank, we’ll climb to the village of Pisang.

Day 06:Pisang to Manang Village

Today, you can choose a high or a shorter route to Manang, both offering splendid mountain views and a glimpse into Himalayan lifestyles. The longer walk takes 8-9 hours and the shorter one takes 5-6 hours.

Day 07:Acclimatization and rest day at manang village

Today, we’ll rest in Manang village to acclimate to the higher altitude and explore the surreal beauty of the surroundings. Many visitors ascend a nearby hill to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Annapurna massif and the huge Gangapurna icefall. The massive Gangapurna and Annapurna peaks tower over the valley, offering stunning views of sunrise and sunset that are among the most beautiful sights in the country.

Day 08:Manang village to yak kharka

From Manang, we’ll head towards the base of Thorong La pass, hiking out of Marshyangdi valley and turning northwest to Jarsang Khola valley. We’ll pass through arid, alpine land with scrub juniper and patches of birch to reach Yak Kharka by afternoon, enjoying stunning views of the weathered and pointy mountains including the highest peak, Syagang (6026m). In our remaining time, we can explore the neighborhood.

Day 09:Yak kharka to Thorang Phedi

The trail from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi is one of the shortest in the Annapurna region. It rises slowly through Thorong Khola valley and takes only a few hours. Thorong Phedi is the last stop before the challenging Thorong La Pass. Here, tourists usually take a rest or an acclimatization trip up to High Camp. The trek to Thorong Phedi is easy but requires caution due to the high altitude of over 4000 meters.

Day 10:Thorang phedi to Muktinath

We will start early in the morning for the pass climb. The ascent is steep, but the altitude makes it thrilling. We reach the top of the pass (5416m) after a few false summits and enjoy the 360-degree panorama of snowcapped peaks extending northwards into Tibet. After the pass, the trail descends gradually but becomes steeper, finally leading to a grassy slope, before easing off to a gradual downhill walk to Muktinath.

Day 11:Muktinath to Jomsom

After reaching the Kali Gandaki valley at Ekalabatti from Muktinath, we will make our way through an arid landscape with stunning views of the snow-clad Himalayas in the backdrop. The trail offers a variety of beautiful colors, ranging from bright Rhododendron forests to rocky cliffs. Eventually, we will arrive at Jomsom after an easy walk.

Day 12:Jomsom to Pokhara

We take a morning flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, with stunning views of the Niligiri and Dhaulagiri mountains. After arriving in Pokhara, we have the rest of the day to explore the lakeside. We can rent bikes, shop, or relax in a lakeside. Overnight stay in a guesthouse.

Day 13:Pokhara to Kathmandu

We drive back to Kathmandu via the same highway and spend time in the city. Durbar Square, Kumari Chowk, Swayambhunath, and Pashupatinath are some of the attractions you can visit. Sightseeing tours can be arranged at the hotel. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 14:Departure back home

Thank you for choosing our company and we look forward to serving you again in the future. Have a safe journey back home!
