Day 01:Arrival Kathmandu – transfer hotel – tour briefing

Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, which sits at an elevation of 1,302 meters or 4,270 feet, our staff will be waiting to receive you and will escort you to your hotel. After settling in, you can take some time to refresh yourself or explore the surrounding area before accommodating in your hotel.

Day 02:Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla & trek to Phakding (2652 m.)

Kathmandu to Lukla is a popular flight route in Nepal as it is the gateway to the Everest region. The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Lukla Airport is also known as Tenzing Hillary Airport and it is located at an altitude of 2,860 meters.

Lukla is a small town in the Khumbu region of eastern Nepal and is a popular starting point for trekkers heading to the Everest region. Phakding is a small village located about 9 kilometers south of Lukla and is often the first stop on the trek to Everest Base Camp.The trek from Lukla to Phakding is relatively easy and takes about 3-4 hours for most trekkers. The trail descends gradually from Lukla, passing through several small villages and crossing several suspension bridges over the Dudh Kosi River.  Along the way, trekkers will enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 03:Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.) 4-5 Hrs.

Phakding and Namche Bazaar are two popular stops along the Everest Base Camp trek in Nepal. The distance between Phakding and Namche Bazaar is approximately 7.5 kilometers.The trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar is uphill, with a gradual ascent. The trail passes through several suspension bridges, forests, and small villages along the way.The trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and is a great introduction to the Everest region. It is important to plan your trek carefully and take necessary precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Day 04:Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3867 m.) 4-5 Hrs.

The distance between Namche Bazaar and Tyangboche is approximately 6.5 kilometers (4 miles). Trek offers stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan Mountains, including Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Everest. The trail also passes through several small villages, where you can experience the local culture and lifestyle of the Sherpa people. The trek from Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche is a relatively short.

Day 05:Tyangboche to Dingboche (4343 m.) 4-5 Hrs.

The trekking route from Tyangboche to Dingboche is also a popular route in the Everest region.The distance between Tyangboche and Dingboche is approximately 9 kilometers and it takes about 4-5 hours, depending on your pace and fitness level. The trail from Tyangboche to Dingboche is mostly uphill, with some steep sections and a gradual ascent. Along the way, you will pass through beautiful forests of rhododendron and juniper trees, and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains, including Ama Dablam and Lhotse.

Day 06:Dingboche to Island Base Camp (5080 m), 5-6 Hrs.

The trek begins in Dingboche, which is located at an altitude of approximately 4,400 meters above sea level. From Dingboche, trekkers will follow a trail that leads them through scenic valleys and up steep hills, passing through the villages of Chhukung and Bibre before arriving at Island Peak Base Camp. The total trekking distance from Dingboche to Island Peak Base Camp is approximately 10 kilometers, with an estimated trekking time of around 5-6 hours.  Along the way, trekkers will be treated to breathtaking views of towering Himalayan peaks, including Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam. They will also have the opportunity to explore the charming Sherpa villages along the route, learn about the local culture and customs, and experience the warm hospitality of the Nepali people.

Day 07:Trek Back Island Base Camp to Dingboche (4343 m), 5-6 Hrs.

The trek back from Island Peak to Dingboche follows the same route as the trek to Island Peak Base Camp until Chhukung. From Chhukung, you will descend down the Imja Khola valley towards Dingboche. The trek from Island Peak Base Camp to Chhukung can take around 2-3 hours, while the trek from Chhukung to Dingboche can take around 3-4 hours. The trail is well-defined and easy to follow.

Day 08:Trek Dingboche to Namche Bazaar (3440 m), 5-6 Hrs.

The trek back from Dingboche to Namche Bazaar follows the same route as the trek from Namche Bazaar to Dingboche, but in reverse. The trail from Dingboche to Namche Bazaar is mostly downhill, but there are a few uphill sections as well. The terrain is rocky and can be slippery, especially if it has rained or snowed.The trek back to Namche Bazaar offers some beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, including Ama Dablam and Lhotse. You will also pass through some charming villages and may have the opportunity to see some wildlife, such as musk deer or Himalayan Thar.

Day 09:Trek Namche Bazaar to Lukla (4240 m), 5-6 Hrs.

The trail back from Namche Bazaar to Lukla is well-maintained and relatively easy to follow. However, there are some steep uphill and downhill sections, so you should be prepared for some strenuous hiking. You may also encounter some rocky or uneven terrain along the way. There are several teahouses and lodges along the trail where you can stay overnight. These offer basic but comfortable accommodations and meals.

Day 10:Flight Lukla to Kathmandu, 35 Minutes

The flight typically takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on the weather conditions and airline. The route is operated by several airlines, including Tara Air, Sita Air, and Summit Air.

Day 11:Departure Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA)
