Limi Valley Trek

In October 2022, I was the scientific leader of an expedition in the Limi region whose logistics were organised by Smiling Eyes. Sagar and his team organised this difficult mission in an impressively professional and uncomplicated manner. From the arrival in Kathmandu to the domestic flights and the coordination with the locals, we always felt very well taken care of.

It was very helpful that Sagar and his team come from the region and thus not only know the language but also the locals personally. This was essential for the successful implementation of the field campaign. Local knowledge was fundamental for the safety and implementation of the field campaign. Even though we had to reschedule things due to the bad weather, Sagar always found the best possible alternative. I will continue to use the services of Smiling Eyes for our scientific field campaigns, but also for my private expeditions in Nepal. Many thanks to Sagar and his team.

Limi Valley Trek

I was the only female participant of a scientific expedition to the Limi Valley in the fall of 2022. It was my first time trekking for such a long distance and in such harsh environment. Sagar and his team managed everything very well and gave us a lot of support, so that we could complete the journey safe and sound. This trip is one of the best memories of my life and I can’t wait to go trekking in Nepal again – and of course with Smiling Eyes 🙂

Limi Valley Trek

I was the logistic coordinator of a joint German-Czech science excursion to Limi in autumn 2022 and I can summarize my experience with Smiling Eyes in one word: PERFECT. Everything worked super smooth with Sagar and his team. From the month long planning through the actual trip until the post planning phase back home. PERFECT!!!

It was my 4th trip with Smiling Eyes and I was always extremely satisfied with that company. Even when we were facing problems like bad weather and/or sicknesses, Sagar always provided us with the necessary help and information. There was always a solution for occuring problems.
