Detail Itinerary
Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be met by a representative of your tour agency and transferred to your hotel. You will have some time to rest and explore the city.
Day 02:Kathmandu to Bardia National Park
After breakfast, you will be driven to the domestic airport y 2 for a short flight to Nepalgunj, a city in the western Terai region. From Nepalgunj, you will be driven to Bardia National Park, which takes around 2-3 hours. After arriving at your lodge, you will have some time to rest and explore the surrounding area.
Day 03:Jungle Safari in Bardia National Park
Today, you will go on a full-day jungle safari in Bardia National Park, which is home to a variety of wildlife, including tigers, rhinoceros, elephants, and many species of birds. You will be accompanied by a trained guide who will help you spot wildlife and provide information about park ecosystem.
Day 04:Visit to Tharu Village and Crocodile Breeding Center
In the morning, you will visit a nearby Tharu village, where you will learn about the local culture and way of life. In the afternoon, you will visit the crocodile breeding center, where you can see several species of crocodiles and learn about their conservation.
Day 05:Elephant Safari and Rafting in Karnali River
Today, you will go on an early morning elephant safari, which is a great way to explore the park and spot wildlife. In the afternoon, you will go on a rafting trip on the Karnali River, which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Day 06:Bird Watching and Nature Walk
In the morning, you will go on a bird-watching tour, which is a great opportunity to see many species of birds that are endemic to the Terai region. In the afternoon, you will go on a nature walk in the park, where you can learn about the plants and animals that live in the area.
Day 07:Departure
After breakfast, you will be driven back to Nepalgunj for your flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel or to the airport for your onward journey.
