Detail Itinerary

Day 01:Arrival Kathmandu – transfer hotel – tour briefing

Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, which sits at an elevation of 1,302 meters or 4,270 feet, our staff will be waiting to receive you and will escort you to your hotel. After settling in, you can take some time to refresh yourself or explore the surrounding area before accommodating in your hotel.

Day 02:A full day Kathmandu sightseeing

Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, is a popular tourist destination known for its rich cultural heritage and stunning architecture. Some of the major sightseeing attractions in Kathmandu are:

Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple): This ancient Buddhist stupa is located on a hilltop and offers a panoramic view of the city. It is surrounded by numerous temples, shrines, and monasteries.

Pashupatinath Temple: A UNESCO World Heritage site, this Hindu temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the world. Non-Hindus are not allowed to enter the main temple but can observe from outside.

Boudhanath Stupa: Another UNESCO World Heritage site, Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in the world and is considered to be the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside of Tibet.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: The historical Durbar Square is a complex of ancient temples, palaces, and courtyards that dates back to the 12th century. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a must-visit for its stunning architecture

Day 03:Flight to Lukla – trek Phakding (2652 m.)

Kathmandu to Lukla is a popular flight route in Nepal as it is the gateway to the Everest region. The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Lukla Airport is also known as Tenzing Hillary Airport and it is located at an altitude of 2,860 meters.

Lukla is a small town in the Khumbu region of eastern Nepal and is a popular starting point for trekkers heading to the Everest region. Phakding is a small village located about 9 kilometers south of Lukla and is often the first stop on the trek to Everest Base Camp.The trek from Lukla to Phakding is relatively easy and takes about 3-4 hours for most trekkers. The trail descends gradually from Lukla, passing through several small villages and crossing several suspension bridges over the Dudh Kosi River.  Along the way, trekkers will enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 04:Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.) 4-5 Hrs.

Phakding and Namche Bazaar are two popular stops along the Everest Base Camp trek in Nepal. The distance between Phakding and Namche Bazaar is approximately 7.5 kilometers.The trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar is uphill, with a gradual ascent. The trail passes through several suspension bridges, forests, and small villages along the way.The trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and is a great introduction to the Everest region. It is important to plan your trek carefully and take necessary precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Day 05:Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3867 m.) 4-5 Hrs.

The distance between Namche Bazaar and Tyangboche is approximately 6.5 kilometers (4 miles). Trek offers stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan Mountains, including Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Everest. The trail also passes through several small villages, where you can experience the local culture and lifestyle of the Sherpa people. The trek from Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche is a relatively short

Day 06:Tyangboche to Dingboche (4343 m.) 4-5 Hrs.

The trekking route from Tyangboche to Dingboche is also a popular route in the Everest region.The distance between Tyangboche and Dingboche is approximately 9 kilometers and it takes about 4-5 hours, depending on your pace and fitness level. The trail from Tyangboche to Dingboche is mostly uphill, with some steep sections and a gradual ascent. Along the way, you will pass through beautiful forests of rhododendron and juniper trees, and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains, including Ama Dablam and Lhotse.

Day 07:Dingboche to Lobuche (4930 m.) 4-5 Hrs.

The trek from Dingboche to Lobuche is a challenging one, but it offers stunning views of the Himalayas and a chance to experience the local culture. Distance between Dingboche and Lobuche is approximately 7.5 kilometers and it usually takes around 4-5 hours to complete the trek. The trail is mostly uphill and passes through rocky terrain, so it can be quite strenuous although it offers stunning views of the Himalayas and a chance to experience the local culture. Trekkers need to be prepared for the high altitude and challenging terrain, and should make sure to carry enough food, water, and warm clothing.

Day 08:Lobuche to Kalapatthar (5545 m.) Gorak Shep

The trek from Gorak Shep to Kalapatthar takes around 3-4 hours depending on your pace and fitness level.The trail begins by following a rocky path that leads to a ridge overlooking the Khumbu Glacier. From here, the trail climbs steadily uphill to Kalapatthar, offering panoramic views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and other peaks along the way.It’s important to dress warmly for the trek as temperatures can drop below freezing at this altitude. You should also carry plenty of water and snacks to keep yourself hydrated and energized during the trek. It’s advisable to start the trek early in the morning to avoid the crowds and to catch the sunrise over Mount Everest. And same day back to Lobuche from Kalapatther for overnight.

Day 09:Gorak Shep to Everest Base Camp to Lobuche (4930 m.)

The trek from Gorak Shep to Everest Base Camp is a most popular route among trekkers in the Everest region. The distance between Gorak Shep and Everest Base Camp is approximately 3.5 kilometers. Trek from Gorak Shep to Everest Base Camp usually takes around 2-3 hours each way, depending on the fitness level of the trekker. Along the trek, trekkers can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan Mountains, including Mt. Everest. They can also pass by the Khumbu Icefall, a treacherous section of the climb up to Mt. Everest, and see the colorful tents of the Everest Base Camp.

Day 10:Everest Base Camp to Pheriche (4240 m.) 5-6 Hrs.

The trek back from Everest Base Camp (EBC) to Pheriche can be a challenging but rewarding experience. The distance from EBC to Pheriche is about 13-14 Kilomiters and it typically takes 5-6 hours, depending on your pace and the weather conditions. There are several route options for the trek back to Pheriche, including retracing your steps back along the same trail or taking an alternate route that offers different views and experiences. It’s recommended to consult with your guide or a local trekking agency for the best route option based on the current conditions.

Day 11:Pheriche to Khumjung Village (3780 m.) 4-5 Hrs.

Ttrek from Pheriche to Khumjung is offer stunning views of the Himalayas including Ama Dablam and Thamserku. You’ll also pass through the picturesque village of Khunde, where you can visit the Khunde Hospital, founded by Sir Edmund Hillary. In Khumjung, you can visit the Khumjung Monastery and the Hillary School, named after Sir Edmund Hillary.The distance between Pheriche and Khumjung is approximately 9 kilometers and usually takes around 4-5 hours, depending on your pace and the weather conditions.

Day 12:Khumjung Village to Manju (2832 m.) 4-5 Hrs.

The trek from Khumjung to Manjo is a relatively short and easy trek and from Namche Bazaar, the trail continues towards Monju. The trail passes through small villages and offers stunning views of the Khumbu Valley and the Himalayas. Monju is a small village located at the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. It is a popular stop for trekkers and has a number of lodges and tea houses.

Day 13:Manju to Lukla (2860 m.) 4-5 Hrs.

Manju is a small village located in the Solukhumbu district and the trekking route passes through several small villages such as Phakding and Namche Bazaar.

Day 14:Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, 35 Minutes

The flight typically takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on the weather conditions and airline. The route is operated by several airlines, including Tara Air, Sita Air, and Summit Air.

Day 15:Departure Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA)
